About revfrolaverty
I am a Diocesan Priest assigned to the staff of one Auxiliary Bishop in a reach out ministry to the diocesan congregation. I swing both ways. Celibacy is not practiced and is not physically or emotionally healthy for any person. I am not paid any actual salary but am paid fees for performing certain sacraments of office. Namely, births, wedding, funerals, masses and confessions. The more performed the higher the none taxable income. My residence is free and so is my food and I share a live in servant and housekeeper. I get a clothing allowance and a free car and petroleum allowance. We have no set working hours and average 6 days a week. Our vacation allowance is determined by our clergy status and dependent on of we are Diocesan or religious order priests. If the latter we get vacation leave according to the nation where the Mother house was founded. I get 42 actual working days leave and business class air travel to my country of origin for vacations. I have to pay for any other air travel myself. |
