I don't believe that Domination needs to be work. I believe there needs to be a meeting of the minds so that the submissive/slave understands that obedience and service are at the very heart of the relationship and the dominant can then enjoy the obedience and direct the service and the relationship without having to beat submission into the sub's head.

A real slave does not enter this lifestyle for the bondage or for the sex. he is not looking forward to pain or being punished.
he obtains his satisfaction in total submission and serving his Owner to the best of his abilities and beyond.

I permitted a slave to travel for an interview this weekend... he had begged for over a month for a chance to be "the one" Apparently the life of a slave was much more a fantasy then the reality proved to be. After less than 24 hours he cried he "he did not have the fortitude" of a slave. That came after being left a list of chore to complete... unattended only 3 hours.

Serving does not always mean "in my presence or at my feet."

The lesson some need to take from this is "Once the step is taken to prove yourself... be prepared to truly live the life!!"
