The fact CM pulls periods out of messages is lazy coding. It makes messaging people and having a conversation pretty damn hard. I haven't seen whether it effects journals at this point, but I've seen it in profiles, so I'm sure this will be all jacked up. If not, then it makes it even worse that they have hosed up messaging so badly.
