***Due to the excessive amount of messages, I'll let you know this in advance: if you send me one-line message, I'm probably not going to read it. I've gotten way too many messages with next to nothing worth reading, some of which don't even get past "hi".
Also, I usually only check messages on here once every week or so, sometimes longer. I have a habit of forgetting to check them, and I've gotten loaded with a lot of things I really don't care to read, most of which tend to get a little offensive. So if you want to try to get to know me, at least try to show a little respect. These messages are getting ridiculous.
Anyways... A bit about me. I've only been in the Austin scene since October of 2010, so I guess I'm still considered a bit of a newbie. I have been learning a lot just recently, though. Mostly about the lifestyle itself, but I've also had someone to teach me a bit of toy-making on the side. It's been a lot of fun so far.
I love the kink community in Austin. Aside from a few conflicts here and there, and the ever-present drama (which I guess is to be expected), the people here are really great. I'd definitely like to get to know some more people with different views and ideas. I've found that I can better expand my own learning experiences if I have more to cover. I rarely go to anything outside of Austin, but I'm looking to expand on that a little bit.
Outside of kink, I have a wide variety of interests--music, art, writing (both poetry and prose), gaming, programming and graphic design/animation. I play quite a few different intruments--flute, saxophone, piano, guitar, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, percussion and viola are the ones I can play on at least an intermediate level. Flute is my main instrument, and I've been playing that for eight years now.
I'm currently attending the Art Institute of Austin in Round Rock to get my bachelor's in Media Arts and Animation. I'm very big into art and love all kinds of it. I've recently been getting more familiar with traditional mediums such as ink, pastel and charcoal, but I'm still looking to improve on my digital art and animation. I have some of my work up at http://ltck.deviantart.com
It's usually easier to talk to me on (if you have an account there). My username is the same and I check my messages a lot more than I do here.
