I'm the sort of woman who likes to get what she wants. Moving to NYC was about creating the life of my dreams, and now that I'm living it, I like meeting those rare souls that are perfect companions for my adventures.

I defy labels, but I can be called a strict Owner, a spiritual Domme, a joyful sadist, and Head Mistress of ClubFEM NYC.

I live and train in Warwick, NY and I work in Manhattan.

“Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. But if you must have desires, let these be your desires. To know the pain of too much tenderness. To be wounded by your own understanding of love and to bleed willingly and joyfully.” -Khalil Gibran

I fun thing happened to me on Friday. As I got off the ferry and walked to my office on Wall Street, a strange man ran up to me and handed me a dozen purple roses and wished me Happy Valentine's Day, and then he ran off. As I walked into my office surrounded by the lovely scent of the flowers, my thought was, "It's good to be the Queen." =)

I got a thoughtful email yesterday from someone who noticed that a lot of people complain in their profiles and journals on collarme about fakes, time-wasters and people who send one-line messages.
It got me thinking, and I thought I'd share my thoughts about that here.

My experience so far has actually been that for the most part people here are pretty open and sincere.  And I've also noticed that the clearer I am in my profile about who I am and what I want, the more I get the kinds of message I'm intersted in reading and replying to.
I've been meeting people online for many years, and in my experience they are no more likely to lie here than anywhere else.  You just need to use your good sense and take your time getting to know people.

Mostly what happens is that people who are into stirring up drama for themselves and others become easy to identify pretty quickly, and they are easy to block. End of drama. It only takes a second and doesn't bother me a bit.
And the horny geek boys are kinda amusing and easy to block if they get annoying. Again, no harm done.
Yes there are some people who are completely fake about who they are online, but they mostly only want to talk to other people who are being fake, since they tend to get very confronted and uncomfortable around someone who is open, direct and confident about who they are.

So, my advice if you are feeling tempted to complain about people being fake on collarme, is to take a good look at yourself and get curious why you are attracting people like that.  Is there some area that you have been unwilling to be honest about? Something you're hiding?  Once you have been honest with yourself and taken responsiblity for your own inauthenticity, I bet you'll find great people start showing up in your mailbox. =)
