Today is the Day of Silence, as of 12am. Twenty minutes ago. I hope most of you will join me in silence as we honor our peers who stay trapped in the closet, silent only for fear of judgement. We stand beside them, and hope our silence can help to stop the judgement of the LGBT community. The hate crimes, the injustice, the slurs. Together, we can make an impact.
