About ravynlotus
~*~I am 25 years old...I am an aquarius. I live in Oregon....I was born in Portland, Oregon. I was raised in Texas for a good part of my life. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe. I love all types of music....ummm....except for some country....lol I am a very musically talented person. I play the drums (10+years), trumpet (10+ years) keyboard, bass guitar, and I sing. I was in my first band when I was 13. I then acquired the nickname Xena.
For people that don't know my past here it is:
I was constantly beaten down and emotionally and mentally. I have been in some pretty messed up relationships. I have been married once. That ended back in July of 06. I have been engaged numerous times only to be fucked over in the end.
One thing that I mostly do in my life is write poetry. It is the only way that I can express my deepest emotions without worrying about how it sounds. My poetry comes from the heart and experiences that have passed. The words flow out of my mind so easily that I can say just about anything that my heart wants me to write. Writing is one of my ways that I like to de-stress. Another way is my art. I am a self-taught artist and only draw what comes to my mind. When I draw, everything around me disappears and I am fully into what I am doing. I can spend up to 4 hours at a time working on a drawing.
I am proud of the many talents that I have. I have worked hard on a lot of the things that I know how to do today.
