Well, I'm somewhat new to the BDSM "scene", but not quite. I guess maybe a quick history might explain the situation better:
My entire life I've been fascinated with the idea of domination and submission, whether or not I was able to realize the exact nature of that fascination at the time. About a year ago, I finally met a domme who I trusted and liked quite a bit, and she was willing to slowly ease me into the lifestyle. We started fairly simple, then eased to something a bit more intense each time we were together. After about six months of this routine, she up and moved away, and once more I'm left in the middle of a mountain with no leather-clad Sherpa to help me continue climbing. I mean come one... this type of thing is way more fun when you don't do it alone... do I even have to say that?
So here's what I was able to figure out about myself during that six months or so: I'm a versatile person, but tend to be most relaxed and have the most fun in a submissive role. Subbing is a ton of fun for me, but it's a purely sexual thing for me. In any other situation, I like / expect to be treated as an equal. The only way I get comfortable enough around someone to be their sub is to trust and respect them. I tend to have a high pain threshold, although I draw the line at anything that draws blood, breaks the skin, or causes permanent injury. Other than that, I'm a fan of wax, belts, crops, chains, clamps, whips... you name it.
Outside the bedroom, I'm a local commercial / television actor. I love computers, video games, and the like, and guess I could be pretty well defined as a "nerd". I love scifi, Star Trek, the Lord of the Rings, the list goes on and on.
So, yeah, I like to think of myself as a pretty standard person, I suppose.
