I adore jazz tremendously and I also love dogs (Rottweiler's specifically). As for what I look for in a woman, it's really hard for me to say because I've been attracted to many different women for many different reasons, but she definitely has to have a great sense of humor, self respect, loves children (and would want some of her own one day), and be serious about relationship, marriage and starting a family. Communication and honesty are essential to every relationship and a successful relationship is one that allows each person to have their own space and freedom, maintain their own identity and at the end of the day still share their personal experiences with each other. I believe true freedom and independence are not reflected by a stubborn attempt to go it alone, but rather by the joy of sharing our lives with someone else (monogamously) I stay healthy and active by running, going to the gym. I love when people say things like: "You're not married yet?!!"
Aside from that, I also love laughing, sun, water, getting caught in the rain, driving with the windows down and the music up, weekend getaways, massages, long, hot showers, mind stimulating conversations and anything else that gets my creative juices flowing and blood pumping. I would like to meet someone who has a great sense of humor, who is active has ambition in whatever life choices she makes, understands what compromise is. Right now, I'm ready for a real woman that can step it up. Someone that is not just a taker, but a giver, and can know when to do both. A person that is also willing to take love and commitment and give the same, along with growth and understanding. Someone that is willing to build a foundation, and not a tug of war. I believe that true love is not something that you necessarily just find; it is mainly something that you build upon, and then it is given the adequate time to truly grow.
Truthfully I am going to be upfront and real, because that's how I am. First thing noted, I am from North Carolina. I am a loyal, loving, honest man that is upfront and free of hot air. I have old school values - I can maintain a household. I pay it forward and live life to the fullest every day. I have a heart of gold and I am sociable, friendly, and spontaneous. Overall, I am a genuine, caring, loyal, and intelligent man. I am optimistic, have a bright smile, and a sharp sense of humor. I like to laugh and am very calm, happy, and laid back, but not silly. I am a man who will treat you right and respect your feelings and emotions. I am usually very warm, fun, and generous, and very wise and intelligent. I enjoy sports, fitness, shopping, movies, entertainment, and music. Lastly, I am also here to meet a woman that knows what she wants out of life, and isn’t afraid to make the first move with a man.
The first things people usually notice about me is I'm not a 24-7 silly person, but I believe in laughter, yet know when to be serious. I'm a laid-back, positive person who always gives back and goes the distance. Everyone around me that knows me can vouch for that as a fact. |
