Hello,
I began my journey into the lifestyle in June with my Dom who became my love. He passed away and with the help of very kind and good Doms I have continued to learn. I know that my experience is limited, but my desire and curiosity is real and eager.
I am a better sub for having been David's sub. As a woman I know that I need not settle for sub par Doms :). I am smart so my Dom must be smart too. I am strong willed and a good Dom knows how to make my will his will and increase his strength through mine.
I slip into sub space easily and am happy to stay there for long periods of time. A truth about my submission is that through service I find pure joy. I have been called a service orientated sub, but I am not one for labels that box a person in. I spent 10 years in the hospitality business...so I am hospitable. I am working on my masters in social work...so serving others to make their lives better makes my life better.
I am a mother and my service to my daughter until she is ready to make it on her own is always first. She is 8.
I love to read and learn and discuss things. I love to grow things and play with food to make people happy. In my vanilla life no one would suspect me of being a submissive. I am the reluctant leader who takes control when no one else steps up. I have no desire to lead in a relationship. I know how to say no with respect and reverence. I like it when a Dom reads my body language, my facial expressions and listens to me...through these things they will learn me and my body and help me explore the world under their watchful gaze and firm hand.
I am a radiant light that bathes in darkness because it soothes my scorched soul.

Resiliency
I am amazed at the human species. I love the idea of out cognition evolving and growing into who we are now...wonderful and terrible. Yet we who are here now are very good at surviving the world we are in. I wonder will we wake up and be guardians of the planet we are so much aware of, or will we rape it until it is a husk and we have become completely parasitic.
Each person is their own struggle with eating themselves alive or finding a symbiotic balance that keeps them in tune with their spiritual energy and their animal roots instead of going to off the deep end in either direction. A balancing act, which is why we are resilient...we keep finding ways to grow...change...
Anyway...im in an introspective mood...I think I need to play and let my mind find balance :)
