Aloha,
I've been kinky in various forms for a very long while. I've recently decided to take it in some new directions.
If your interested in what's happening on Maui, please visit MauiBDSM.org. The munches are on the third Saturday of each month.
I recently had the good fortune to take an intensive with Cléo Dubois. I recommend it to everyone.
My current interests include rope, canes, mummification, electric play, and play piercing. I also do lite D/s and hypnosis.

Playing with Belts
A friend, who's a long time player was out of town, and let us use her very well equipped dungeon.
We were doing two scenes that day, the first, I had asked my partner
to do a play piercing on me, since I had only ever had 4 needles in me,
and had been piercing others, I wanted to get a sense of what I was
doing. I took 40+ 22ga in my arms, diaphragm, thighs, & chest.
Then we switched, In looking at all the toys, I settled on using belts, a Magic Wand and a many tine'd heavy deer skin flogger.
I had layed out 7 or 8 belts, and had her lie down on them, put the
Hitachi in place for later. Then I tightened everything up. My partner
told me later that "unlike rope which takes a while and often has a bit
of give, this was very fast and had no give."
I started slowly with flogging her complete front, in a simple
pattern. Increasing the tempo and force over time altering the strokes
until she was trying to jump, but couldn't. Then I turned on the
Hitachi, increased my tempo and intensity to a regular beat.
The obvious then happened. A lot.
She told me that it took her to level of vulnerability and
availability that she rarely went to. We both had a lot of fun. It's
clearly an area worth exploring more.

Notes on Lei Making
I was visiting a friend on the mainland a few weeks ago, and had
planned to do a play piercing with flowers like I had seen in some
pictures recently. It looked stunning, and we were going out, so why
not...
We went to the flower market and picked up some lovely tuberroses.
Then, we went to visit another very experienced friend who's also very
persuasive, who suggested using surgical suture's as well. She handed
me 6 packages of sutures, and a tool to help with the suturing. She
also said that she didn't do it any more because it was so difficult to
see the needle. (That should have been a clue!)
So, were about an hour before we are leaving for the performance we
were attending that evening. I got my gloves on, Betadine'd her neck,
did the first stitch, and all was well. Then I put a flower on,
stitched again, and it was a bit difficult to get the second stitch to
come out of her skin, and I had 30+ flowers to go. It became
progressively more difficult to to stitch. And by the time I had 3
flowers done, we had 15 minutes left so I changed the approach to a
more classic Lei, just threading as many flowers onto the Lei as I
could, and doing a 4 point attachment, and that allowed us to finish
with a few minutes to spare.
My friend was wonderful, not making a sound through the entire
ordeal, I'm not sure I'd have been able to be so stoic had I been
stitched.
The Lei smelled wonderful, and looked great.
Our activities were being watched by a very experienced piercer who
later told us that the sutures we used were too small, and the tool we
needed was a needle threader rather than the hemostat we were using.
Cutting up the Lei was easy. The thread marks lasted a few days
longer than I expected, which I'm attributing to a bit of the rose
getting into the skin.
My personal takeaways is to not do new things when there is a
schedule. Actually research cool ideas before trying them. And, lastly,
this was cool, that I want to be able to do it again and well.
