Yes, I am a pro bubble blower. No, you probably can't be one. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, starting as a young child and continuing on through adolescence. You have to be out there every summer, bubble wand in hand, pushing yourself to produce a stream of air long and strong enough to set free a hundred bubbles at a time. You have to practice with different wands, from the giant rings to the itty-bitty toddler wands. You sweat. You sacrifice. You watch everything you worked so hard for pop ten seconds after its creation. This is not the profession for just anyone. |
