About Primumvivere
Hello. I am not purely a pain dom, although I like rough play. I am more into the mental aspects of bdsm. Using a word that doesn't really exist, I am a sapiosexual, dominating a stupid person would give me no satisfaction.
A little about me. In my younger days I lived in collectives around the Western world experimenting with different types of political ideas put into small-scale practice. I studied critical theory primarily with a good amount of social, political and economical philosophy. My personal beliefs are closer to Bakunin then Marx, although as I age I become more and more pragmatic. My non academic interests include literature, primarily the beats and highbrow fiction encompassing authors from the turn of the century through the 1940s. A personal favorite of mine is Miller who inspired me to be an autodidact. I couldn't pick a favorite author even if I was forced as each of the ones I enjoy fulfill different desires. My lifestyle as a young man allowed me to visit most of the major museums in the west, leaving me with a great appreciation of art and these days I go to the MET an abnormal amount. I am particularly found of classical and neoclassical sculpture and have a few favorites that I've taken to heart.
I have no religious beliefs, however I have sacrificed at the Altar of Hera and Zeus. Unfortunately I was all out of white bulls, so made do with what I could find. I am a member of the tribe, purely in a secular sense tho, think Hitchens or Chomsky.
One other thing, night clubs are my personal idea of what Hell is like if I believed in Hell. I do enjoy a nice single malt preferably from Islay as I like the peatiness or a good stout beer.
I dont really know the label I would put on my dominance, if I had to pick one I'd say daddy domination. With that said I wouldn't want my partner to act like a little or anything of that nature. I mean it in the sense that I expect them to heed my wishes because it is what is best for them. If I am with someone in a long term commitment, I know that person and put thought into what would be the best course of action for them. I expect them to communicate with me their wishes as one cannot advise another human being well without first knowing what it is they want.
In the bedroom, I like a restraints, submissive positioning, ropes, gags, body worship, orgasm denial, teasing, some humiliation, spanking, sometimes light slapping and choking. I vary it sometimes but those are my main interest.
As far as the everyday, outside the bedroom relationship, beyond what I already described, I've read my Emma and Rosa and like my partner to be my equal, to take on life together.
