As a slave in my household you will be serving in a matriarchal poly setting. I am head of this household, and my rules hold sway. So I'm one of those people who has sort of a dual standard where subs are concerned. On the one hand I view slaves as just that - a near-Old World or feudal serf, with only those rights and privileges given by me. Livestock, useful assets, appliances to be programmed with the most convenient and expedient settings. This is pretty irrespective of gender. I find that I see a slave as a slave, in the harshest definition of the word.

That having been said - I also have this weird view that one ought not to break one's toys. From a purely business-related perspective, it makes little sense to ruin one's assets - and from an emotional perspective, I don't like hurting people. It's bad juju. Maybe that makes me a softie. If it does - I'm okay with it.

I tend to have a harsher, more use-oriented view toward males. They're just wonderful pack-animals where chores and service are concerned... men are faithful, hard-working, even-tempered, and they've got those big strong hands. I enjoy the thrill of possessing them, controlling them, dictating and managing, assigning and rewarding or punishing.

Females, though... I'm still holding a candle for the elusive female slave. Ideally she'd be comfortable in the position of cherished female possession - to be used as work-horse, sexual device, sculptural art, and my canvas in any way I chose to express myself. She would know that in just as severe, complete and binding a way as with a male slave, she was mine - but that she could trust me, and expect pleasurable rewards for expectations met.
