I chose the name I did not because I'm particularly good at chess - actually, I'm pretty terrible at it, though I do still enjoy it - but because the chessmaster is a character archetype that I particularly enjoy writing and reading.

In the interest of sating your curiosity though, I am a full time college student here in Greensboro, studying to one day be a science teacher, because science is awesome and everyone deserves to learn so.
