I'm a city boy who was raised in the country. I admire competence, work ethic, and self-awareness. I'm a musician and artist. I like crafting things. I'd much rather be doing something than socializing.
I consciously make an effort to do things that require more skill and patience and produce a better result. I'm in tech, but hate quick-fixes. I like painting the back of the drawer, to use the parlance.
I like to think I have a throwback mindset about a lot of things, but I'm not interested in the misogyny or racism - I think the principles are universal. I don't much care about the aesthetics involved.
I am very "traditionally" male, but I consider it just part of a D/s dynamic, not something gender-specific. That said, I do really appreciate the "traditionally feminine". It helps balance things.
I have a bit of a sadistic streak. I prefer a side kick I consider equals, but whose respect I can earn to the point of supplication. Submission is only fun if it's freely given.
