A little about myself, I have been in the lifestyle formally for the past 17 years. Informally all my life since my father is Dom to the core. A lot has happened since last February. Voilence in the street in front of my home has forced me to make a hard decision. I have abandoned my home for the protection of my children. I'm currently staying with friends in Michigan--hence the change to my profile. It's safer up here and I am hoping to sell my house, find one appropriate up here and make this a permanent move. hello to anyone who cares. I think I need to find a way to come up with new rules for myself, by myself. I talked with a few people here and they seem nice enough online but want more than I am able to give. I can't live alone with someone, I have children of my own. I'm not about just a quicky every other night or so (there is so much more to a relationship than that). Someone please tell me how to find the right person who will take the time to get to know me and accept my children as well? Please??

I have taken the sybatical from Vanilla, now I consider the same for D/s as well. Apparently I'm not good enough to have anyone actually show up for a rl meeting. Perhaps I've had my run and there isn't anyone else out there for me.

I took a sibatical from BDSM for a while and was talking to "Normal men". I return to find myself being more true to myself then they will ever be. I despise liars and cheats. I am not wealthy as a widow and can't afford to feed someone else' children for them. They may be what the moral majority call "normal", but I can't consider them "men". Someone thought I might let others know a little bit more about me and recommended a 100 item list of things others should know.

1. I'm not a sports fan. I would rather read a boring biography on Ben Franklin than sit through a nascar race or football game.

2. My mother did me the dis-service of teaching me how to cook. So if you don't like simple down to earth food don't come to dinner.

3. I am sub not slave. I will not perform like a trained seal for your amusement. I have a brain and use it quite frequently.

4. Parties are nice and I will treat whoever takes me with the respect that is their due. I will not cause a scene and embarrass you with bad manners.

5. I will not be shared. If you want your best buddies to have a good time buy them a case of beer and a bag of pretzels.

6. I am not a human toilet and will not be so degraded. If you are a true Dom your mother potty trained you so I'm sure you can take care of such necessities on your own.

7. I know my value as a submissive so calling me vulgar names will only have me walking away. I am not into humiliation, whether by you or me toward you.

8. The most sensual sensation I have ever experienced is a sharp knife tip grazed over my shoulder blade or forearm.

9. "Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me" is a lifestyle statement not a cliche.

10. Music should be played as a background to a sensual experience not blasted into your ears until they rupture.
