Now, this may sound like a lure, but I have come to realize that in exploring the depths of her slavery, my girl needs someone who understands complete submission. She finds very few who have surrendered as completely and sometimes feels lost. In my mind, it is a Master's responsibility to help a slave adjust if they can, and not just write off her issues as "not his problem." She spends a fair amount of time reading the Gorean Board, but even there she has not fully connected with someone who just "gets it."
So, from time to time, if I see a profile that seems to describe a woman that she could identify with, who understands what complete slavery entails, or who might benefit from my girl's experience, I may decide to write. I want to be clear in this...I am not fishing. I know if left to her own devices, RabinyaZharovna will not reach out to those that may be able to support her and just be a freind. I think she needs that and it would help her in her growth.

In reading through so many submissive profiles, there is a common theme that I see quite often. Many girls (and I suppose boys, though I don't read many of those) express frustration at the basic grammer mistake in the phrase "I am dominate." It got me thinking if there was ever a situation where that syntax would be correct, and much to my surprise, here is what I found:
"The Dominate" is used as a noun to describe the second phase of government in ancient Rome. The Caesar was "The Dominate." I'm sure that few of the people who write this are using it in that context, but it does sort of fit for a Master to use that term, as it is synonymous with "Caesar." At least, that's how I interpreted the Wickpedia entry. Just another useless factoid for your pleasure.  |

I had an interesting exchange with a young slave who didn't think it was possible for a slave to act demure and ladylike while in public. My response to this is: If you are in a complete power exchange relationship, shouldn't you strive to act in whatever manner your Master dictates? If He/She demands that you carry yourself a certain way, isn't it incumbent upon you to do your best to be that way, even if it conflicts with your basic instincts? |
