Well, that’s all well and good… but what have you done to find/get X or Y? I pop over to your profile to get a look at who it is that wants so badly… needs so desperately… hmm… it’s often either blank, or filled out with kink, the whole kink, and nothing BUT the kink, so help me DOG! There is nothing about you as a person… nothing about who you are beyond the “I want… I need…” You know, that’s great for fantasy, but not much good for anything beyond hit it, and quit it. I don’t want to just know what you do when you have your kink on… I want to know what you do when you have your clothes on… when you are using your brain to run something besides your crotch. If there is a profile it’s often weighted down with poor spelling, and net shorthand. I shouldn’t need a decoder ring folks to try to figure out what it is you say you need! Don’t just talk about it… don’t just dream it… screw up your courage, walk into a munch, or a meeting, stick out your hand and say “Hi, my name is_____ and you are?” But nah… you would rather join a site and post a quick GIMME. It doesn’t matter if you word it nicely, or sweetly, or sternly, it’s still a GIMME. You haven’t done anything to earn it yet, but you still seem to expect it. Once your GIMME request isn’t honored, you start posting about how your mythical X or Y hasn’t been dropped on your face, or in your lap yet. How there is no one real… or good… and how it’s all a waste of time because you haven’t gotten it NOWWWW!!!!! Here’s a suggestion… spend a little less time complaining about what you don’t have, and put some of that energy into finding what you hope to have. No really… it is work for all of us to find what we seek… our sympathy will go further, if folks see you have been putting in an effort. And constant whining is not considered effort… not by the majority of us, if posts on various sites are anything to go by. So, my not so humble suggestion for finding that which you seek? Work for it. Stop stamping your foot, pouting, and expecting someone to give it to you just because you demanded it, or wished for it. Very rarely in life do we get what we want in an instant, just by saying GIMME… finding a relationship within what it is that we do, is really no different.
