I think that we live in a world of our own personal paradigms, but it strikes me this is even more true in the "BDSM" world.

I'm surprised by this observation sometimes.

I use quotes around "BDSM" because I don't know what else to call it... I can't say I care much for the term, or that my own philosophies/tendencies fit all that neatly into any of its boxes. It is the term we have to work with, however, and so that is the term I use.
