About Osion
Some years ago after spending many an evening with my partner, I was running short of ideas beyond the bedposts and dining table. As amazing at it was, it truly didn't show off the essence of her, or her actions.
I have been building furniture for 15 years and I came to the conclusion that I was only limited by my imagination. I set about working on a design that was “functional” as well as hidden.I wasn't too moved by the dungeon based items that were out there, It certainly didn't show her to her full beauty.
I was inspired by Norse scroll work and Medieval carvings. I became interested and indeed fantasised about what Dracula’s cupboard would look like or what sort of table an Elf would have. And so the long hall table was born.
This drew a fair bit of attention and led to the inevitable... “can you make me one?” This in turn led me to a question for myself.. what else is possible?
