Hi, my name is Lauren, I'm 30 years old and I'm a pre-op transsexual woman.
I'm going to be clear and up front about this. I am not a man. I am not a crossdresser. I am not a sissy. I'm not a woman with 'a little extra'. I do not have a clit-stick nor any other stupid nickname for my genitalia. I do not have a manpussy - I do have an anus, as does everyone else in the world.
While I am a transsexual person, I'm not looking for crossdressers. I'm sorry, I have no problems if your a trans-person, however I find nothing attractive about men wearing women's clothing for sexual pleasure.
I consider myself a switch, however I do have a stronger submissive side and I'd be more than happy to live out my life as a sub/slave. My inner nature is quite often submissive. However I have found that there are a lot of people who I find to be inferior to me. I would never serve or submit to these people. In fact I find that I am dominant to them. For that reason I consider myself a switch.
I suppose that describes what I am. Who I am is a bit more complicated.
The best descriptor for me would be Nerd.
I've been in school for quite a while and I really love learning. I play games (video and board game alike). I roleplay (the nerdy kind and the not so nerdy kind *wink*). I read far too much. Some people call me a grammar nazi, I would disagree - I do make an effort to write with proper english, I just come off as a grammar nazi to those with less than remedial skills.
I'm a vegetarian, I love to cook and bake. I'm a better baker than I a cook, probably because baking is closer to a science. I love watching movies and have become a bit of a movie snob. I love Star Trek, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica and a few other sci fi and fantasy shows. I'm a big Robert Jordan fan as well. I love chocolate - I'd do tricks for chocolate. I'm a linux girl through and through, though I still use windows for a variety of reasons.
I dress casually, though I love cosplay and I like to get dressed up. I love opera and classical music. I can't stand rap or country music.
I'm very liberal, politically speaking. I vote Green Party (Note I'm Canadian, not American). I'm of Scottish descent.
What I'm Looking for:
- Long term relationship!
- Boy or Girl (genetic or otherwise)
- Online if your a great conversationalist, otherwise real time.
- Well read and intelligent (intelligence does not necessarily mean educated)
For a Dom/Domme:

Well, I ordered a ball gag, I had some credit at an online sex store so I decided to use up that credit.?

I don't really know why, but this morning I woke up and really wanted a ball gag. ?
Both for myself when I'm feeling submissive and for other when I'm feeling otherwise. *grin*
Does anybody have any recommendations for what a good one to buy is?? What's a good size? Is it worth getting a small one to start? Or should I just get a bigger one?

There is a difference!
I was just reading some posts on the collarme forums.? There are MANY people on there, who speak as if they are experts, that have no idea what transsexuality is. They get it confused with cross dressing, they get it confused with transvestic fetishism.?
And of course they completely mess up pronouns.
I don't care how old you are, how gay you are, how straight you are, how long you've been involved with the kink lifestyle, how many crossdressers you know.??? If you think transsexuality is the same as transvestism, or the same as crossdress, you are wrong - completely, ignorantly, wrong.
Transgender:? This is an umbrella term that encompasses most 'gender variant' folk.? I personally do not like this term as it is very unspecific. By most people's definition, this term includes transsexuals, crossdressers, dragqueens and transvestites, etc in it.
Crossdresser:? A person who dresses in clothes of the opposite sex.? Usually this is associated with a man dressing in woman's clothing.? There does not need to be sexual desire to do this.? A drag queens and drag kings would technically be defined as a crossdressers.?
Drag Queen:
A man who dresses as a woman for theatrical purposes.
Drag King:
A woman who dresses like a man for theatrical purposes.
Transvestite:? This is an older term used to describe cross dressers.? It is most often used because of the DSM (a big book of psychological disorders) and most often with the diagnosis of "Transvestic Fetishism" which describes a crossdresser who dresses as the opposite sex and gender for the purposes of sexual arousal.
Transsexual: A person who is born of a specific gender, but who's body is that of the opposite sex.? For example. I am a woman who was born with a male body.? I am not a crossdresser. I have never been a crossdresser.? I do not wear clothes of the 'opposite sex' for sexual pleasure.
A transsexual woman, like myself, is a woman, you use female pronouns ALWAYS, we do not 'cross dress'.? We are not transsexual for sexual gratification.
If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask, but please don't assume you know what you're talking about if you don't understand the basics.

I've just re-read my profile and I can sorta see how I could come off as a bit of a bitch.
I'm not, I promise. I'm really just a bit kitten - I even play with dangling strings if they're hanging over my head. Honest!
