What you get when you date me is a strong, independent man who is loyal and affectionate. You get someone who is dependable and solid as a rock. I will be your best friend, your lover and the person you will want to come home to and share your day with. And I will sit with you and listen intently as you tell me the trials, the tribulations and the victories of your day. What I am not is perfect. I have my faults and my imperfections, as do we all, but in the grand scheme of things hopefully my good qualities will out number the bad. I am confident they do.
You will find that I am witty, clever, intelligent, loyal, introspective, sarcastic, have a great sense of humor and can be a tad shy sometimes---as quoted by my close friends. What you get when you date me is someone who is passionate both inside the bedroom and out. I am definitely a giver in every aspect of my life. I enjoy doing things for others and my biggest reward is seeing someone happy, whether it's a friend, girlfriend or family member...or even a complete stranger. Sometimes the biggest gift I can give and get in return is laughter. I'm somewhat of a comedian (in my own mind, at least) and a smart %$#!% (better than a dumb ass, right) There comes a profound sense of inner satisfaction from giving that I really enjoy.
I make a great travel buddy and companion. We could pack sandwiches and drinks and hit the road to San Diego or Vegas for the weekend. Don't think that I don't want to travel to further destinations. On the contrary! There are so many places in this world I would love to visit: Italy, Germany, Greece...the list is long.
What you will NOT get from me)...I will not: Lie, steal or cheat on you. I am faithful to the core and you should be too. I'm sure I don't need to sit here and lecture about the virtues of being faithful. Infidelity is rampant in our society. I don't want to be part of the problem. I want to be part of the solution. Bottom line: Relationships aren't easy. They require teamwork in order to succeed. If one person can't keep up their end of the bargain, it's time to pack it in and say goodbye, because if it gets to the point that you're looking at other people and wondering what it'd be like to be with THEM because you're having a little trouble in your own relationship, then I'd say it's time to move on. Next!
Here's the part where I get to say what I want. I want to build a life with someone special. I know it sounds sappy, but that's what I want. And I think that that is what most humans want in this life; to have a person to come home to after a long day who will put her arms around you and make the world outside just disappear, if only for a moment. Yep, that's what I want... |
