Well, I did it...bit the bullet, ventured out into the "real world" (ie, the local scene) of bdsm...and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Been to a couple play parties now (well, actually the ones I keep ending up at are instructional in nature, so I haven't seen one yet where everyone comes and all kinds of random scenes are going on...unfortunately), and been taken under the protection of a domme, basically for training and such.
Loving that, too, by the way...
My second "play" session is tomorrow...hence my incessant need to float around here....
Trying not to overanalyze stuff TOO much, and enjoy the ride...afterall...it really is a great ride!

??? I know that what I'm looking for is not for everyone. I know that many potential doms are turned off by a request for online training, and I respect that (note, please, that I'm not flooding Your mail box with requests to train me!). I have my own reasons for requesting the training to at least begin online, and they mainly concern my feeling safe and comfortable.
