Hi all, Anyone here old enough to remember a band called Guns n Roses? They were around in the late 80s, made a couple of pretty good songs before Axl (not a misspelling, his name was Axl) Rose, front man and lead singer, went into success overload meltdown, they were never the same after that. If you've ever heard of Slash, a great effin' guitar player, then you already know something about Guns n Roses. Anyway...they recorded a song, "Sweet Child o' Mine," that was pretty damn good. The main hook/refrain to the song was "Where do we go now? Where do we go etc..." So, fellow Americans and kinks...Where do we go now? Are we gonna let the alt-right Neo-Nazis dictate the conversation? Are we gonna turn from being a nation of acceptance and tolerance, to being a nation of haters and  xenophobic misanthropes? Every minority group in America today...Muslims, Jews, gays, blacks, atheists, etc. is under attack, with wink-wink tacit approval from that orange baboon in the White House. Do any of you have a sense of history? Do any of you recognize the struggle that blacks went through to secure basic civil rights, that we all so glibly take for granted? Do any of you know of the struggle that the LGBTQ community has gone through just to be treated as equal citizens, with equal rights? If not, maybe you should Google Matthew Shepard...horrendously murdered, dragged to death behind a pickup truck by good ole boy right-wing rednecks, in punishment for his crime of freely choosing the one he wished to love. Like me, most of you are still in the closet...who needs that hassle? But the longer we stay silent...the more the trumpets win.

I guess things are better. Trump is our Prez, and he hasn't nuked the world yet. But it hasn't even been three months, and he is acting weirder all the time. God help us all, especially those who are not right-wing Trumpbots...

Okay...I'm better now. Got past the darkness, and in retrospect, it really wasn't all that big of a deal. But in the moment...sometimes it's tough to step outside yourself and gain a bit of much-needed perspective.

Please do not fuck with me right now...and I apologize in advance if I fuck with you.  Something bad...not disastrous, but bad...just happened in my world. When I get like this, I need to slip away into darkness, but there is no slipping away, and there is no darkness. You would not like me how I am right now...the best thing you could do would be to bring me a brick and a monitor. I could take a great big windup and throw the brick smackass through the monitor.  Actually, bring two bricks and two monitors...that would get me over it, and I'd love you forever...within kink limits, of course... On second thought, I already have two perfectly good but obsolete CRT monitors laying around here somewhere...just bring the bricks, and be quick about it.  If it takes you all day to get here, I'll need another brick and another monitor..."patience" is not an operative word right now...

I am not against the 2nd Amendment...every American has the right to keep firearms at home, to protect themselves. But assault rifles, multi-round clips, the "gun show" loophole to circumvent background checks...the NRA is not our friend.  They have their own agenda...to raise money from fat white guys who like to run around and play army... Really, dude? You're worried about government encroachment? So you're gonna stand down an Apache gunship? Good luck with that...

Don't delude yourself, your submission isn't a gift, it's a burden that you bear, just as I bear the burden of dominance. I didn't choose this lifestyle, it chose me. Having seen both sides...I will take the lonely darkness of this lifestyle, and skip the easy vanilla. Because I know that when this does click, it is indescribable...I will take my chances, I'm okay with being alone...

PLEASE- Could someone with HTML/Java/website experience give the programmers at CS a heads-up on how to build a useful, usable search engine? I live in the southeastern corner of TN...I can search on "TN"...it will return results from Dyersberg TN...7 hours from me.  But it will not return results from Ringgold GA, 1 hour away. Please, give us either radio buttons ("Search the following states"), or a "Search within radius" (100 miles, 250 miles, 500 miles, etc) option. A sensible search for me might include TN, AL, GA, NC, KY, etc. As it is now, I can search TN...very limited...or "all states"...way too broad... Other than that, I like CS. Gives us a chance to connect/possibly meet without feeling that we're paying for a fantasy sleigh ride...

The political season is again upon us; this November, we will choose who will lead our great nation for the next four, and possibly eight, years.  If you value individual freedom, I ask you to consider carefully.  Women's reproductive rights, the rights of gay people, looking to science rather than dogma on evolution and climate science...these things matter, whether you believe it or not.  Please do your research and make an INFORMED decision...
