Many think that submissives are weak but I disagree. It takes a strong mind to be a submissive. A true submissive is not a throw rug to be walked all over but a woman seeking direction and control.
A Dominant does not control only thru pain but by his presence, voice and touch. Touch is extremely important to all submissives. She needs that feedback to know that she is respected and needed.
Safety remains a high priority of mine. A submissive must always feel safe and have the right to question any unsafe practice. I do use safe words as an added safety measure. Actions can only prove that a Dominant is responsible for his submissive's safety and security.
Its also important for a Dominant to share emotions with the submissive. I require a submissive to keep a journal and write down their emotions. Nothing should be hidden. Its only through open and honest commnications can these set become one. Isnt that what a relationship is all about? Think about it. Who wants to be just a door mat or would you rather be someone's pride and joy?
