Let's get this out of the way first: I'm a geek. I enjoy Sci-Fi, fantasy, comedy and online gaming. Haven't been skiing in about 10 years, but as I just lost 45 pounds it's now a great option. I enjoy trying everything just about once.
I am generally a non-confrontational person and the person who I meet will also want to work any potential problems out in a peaceful manner. Yelling is the fastest way to make me leave.
If you are familiar with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs then know that I am an INFJ/INTJ. Look it up, as it should answer loads of questions that this introduction cannot. Being an introvert I do require a certain amount of "alone time" and value all of my personal relationships just as I value your personal relationships and any "alone time" you may require.
Sometimes I will go to a Science Fiction/Fantasy convention. See also the movie Galaxy Quest if you have questions as to what they are like.
My perfect match would be someone who accepts me for who I am and does not try to change or improve me. I always accept a person for who they are and try to not change the other person as well. I accept suggestions and advice, but people must want to improve themselves of their own free will. I am willing to improve myself and do so on a regular basis.
My political views are generally conservative. I never attempt to thrust my opinion upon a person and prefer reasoned discourse to ad-homonym attacks. In fact I enjoy expanding my views and learning about others opinions. It is acceptable to agree to disagree, as no two people will ever have identical views.

I am not too picky about looks, weight, height or anything else. It is the "spark," the attraction towards another person that draws me in first. A sense of humor is mandatory or else you may be forced to sit in the Comfy Chair and be read Vogon poetry.
Currently I'm working in the IT field. I like my short commute to work and most of the people I work with are awesome. The only downside is that I am working a graveyard shift (10pm - 6am) and have Monday and Tuesday off. This impacts my life and what I want to do, however I'm certain that things will all work out just fine.
