Do people really think Taiwan is Thailand? Well, before I put that line in my profile, I did get some "I like the food (and turned out to be pad-thai)", "I heard it's a good place for scuba diving" messages. I'm actually not offended by that, don't even think it's wrong - to be honest, I didn't know where Nebraska is either. The reason I put that in my profile is, if you are totally not aware of the politics between Taiwan and China, there is too deep a gap between us, and it's better not to waste our time. |
