another update: I have found Myself and found the other I spoke of :) so for now this is merely a networking tool not "I'm seeking or searching" tool. I hope that everyone finds what I have.

one last update....the "Bliss" did not last long as things slipped into old habits. We are still great friends but that does not a relationship make. Still doing the look n see but if something happens it happens if not then I am content.

I have learned over the years that long distance relationships are to hard to keep going over a long time. The emotional toll is hard and the rewards far and few inbetween UNTIL the week of actually spending time together only to find he clips his toenails at 3 am (an example never had that happen...yet) and then you feel you have wasted 1-2 yrs online for what? Nothing much. I do not beleive in the online medium for a relationship. Relationships for the here and now not for the when I can find time to make a trip to god knows where for a few minutes. So basically if you arent either on my commute route or in the Winchester VA area and have no desire to be more than online or are "married" then dont bother. I dont? want to waste anyone's time.

I guess I should have done this about a month ago but being cynical by nature I decieded to wait. I have found what I was missing and had in fact only been missing it these last 3 years, after I sent him away (not a break up just a parting of ways) and now he is back and I am as happy as a clam :) So now this becomes meeting of people of like minds and interests to talk about the realitity of life and trying to juggle it all with kids a job and trying to find time for "adult fun".
I wish everyone the happiness I have found.

I am finding out a bit about Myself. I am not a true Switch. I submitted once to the right person. Other than that I am a very controlling demanding person. I was amazed that when I did not "respond" quick enough to suit someone they felt the need to chastise Me. Laughs. I am sorry I do have a life outside of the Internet and sometimes it interfers with responding. At least I do take the time to respond even if it is a No sorry not interested. *shrugs* No skin off My nose if they can not understand that other things come before the internet. |
