There are many approaches to D/s, and I respect how we each come to it with our own unique erotic perspectives. What I have to say below is just my approach, and not intended to cast judgment on anyone else's approach.
Submissives fit into two broad categories: those who see beauty in what they are and find tremendous value and meaning in expressing it AND those who, in their self-loathing, seek submission to validate their negative feelings. I am interested in the former, not the latter.
For the kind of submissive that interests me, submission is not something that is taken, it is something freely given. But it is only given to the dominant who can create an environment where the submissive feels she is safe to be completely vulnerable, and where she feels confident she will be valued in her service.
I want to lead this type of submissive on an exploration of her desire to serve . . . together finding meaningful erotic fulfillment (perhaps even moments of transcendence) on her path to complete vulnerability and surrender. Her looks are much less important to me than her intelligence and frame of mind.
Though the roles of dominant and submissive are very different, they are also connected and complementary. I will create the environment that allows her to surrender and in exchange she will become the canvas on which I realize my intimate desires (emotionally as well as physically).
To say just a little about me, I am a sincere, confident, intelligent, attractive and physically fit person.
