Beyond a certain point Mastery is like gem cutting, it becomes less about the Master and more about revealing the jewel within the raw submissive. Don't take me wrong, the Master is still very important, as it takes an expert craftsman to perform this transformation, one that in a lessors hands leaves nothing but shards for the next person to cleanup. Slavery is about learning to hold this new shape. Over time this jewel may be further refined becoming every more brilliant all of the time.
Masters do not create slaves, they provide a rigid structure to reveal what is already there.
It is by teaching others that we learn, and learn of, ourselves.
