Sorry for the empty space; photo pending.

First off, I'm skeptical but cautiously hopeful about this venue. It used to be easy to write off the viability of using a website to find a partner, but current national statistics are surprising a lot of folks by indicating otherwise. So what the hell do I know?

(And what do you put in a space like this that will invite someone to check you out, but not come off sounding like an egomaniacal, narcisistic troglodyte?)

I've been alone long enough to know that it's not how we're supposed to live. Sure, I'm busy, and I'm active, but it's still just a routine without someone to share it with.

I'm a single, athletic, adventurous Switch, looking for a Lady counterpart to share in the adventure that is life.

I'm a competetive multi-sport athlete, I enjoy most outdoor activities regardless of season; I thoroughly enjoy getting out into the wilds, but I also enjoy quiet evenings at home.

I'm a voracious reader; I like to write fiction, short stories, and poetry.

I enjoy working with wood, steel, and leather; I like to cook; I'm a fan of movies.

I'm honest, sincere, and loyal to a fault.

I'm a hopeless romantic, with a distinct leaning to the old-school, chivalrous manner (I open doors, etc.); in the bedroom I like kinky, and I like vanilla - but not a steady diet of either, and I prefer to give as good as I get.

I believe in the power of communication - say what you mean, and mean what you say. Most of the bigger problems we face in life and relationships could be solved if we'd just speak up and talk about what's buggin' us when the problem is still small.

I'm looking for someone to adore, and be adored in return.

The search is sincere. LTR is the intent. One-night stands are not on the menu.

If you're a smoker - keep looking. I'm NOT your guy.

I'm an active person, with a firm belief and dedication to health and fitness, and I seek the same in a partner. Sorry, but no BBW - nothing aganst 'em, they just don't do it for me.

Ultimately, it comes down to chemistry - either it's there, or it isn't. The only way to find out, is to put the two components together.

It starts with 'hello'.
