Hello A/all

I am a married African American Dominant man living in Washington DC, 40 years old, with one child. I have been married seven years and before that I spent time living the D/s lifestyle. For the greater part of my marriage we lived a vanilla life, but we have recently started down the D/s lifestyle. Going down this road has led to all sorts of benefits in our relationship, the most important being increased intimacy.

While I consider myself a Dominant, the essence of it for me is leadership. I’m a leader first and foremost. I lead my family; I have held leadership roles in business and leadership roles in the community. The role and responsibility of a leader dovetails into the roles and responsibility of a Dominant. So with this in mind, I teach my son to lead, so by the time he is grown, all I’ll need to do is buy him a flogger. J

I’m interested in talking to Doms and subs about their experiences/view of Dominance outside of the D/s world, if anything carries over into the vanilla world. I’m also interested in talking to couples with children and how that works for them.
