Well, after going through the preliminaries I've change my mind and have lost 15 lbs. Medicare reqiure a loss of 20 before they'll approve surgery.
Since I'm losing on my own I'm putting off surgery for now.

Wow! it's been two years since I made an entry here. Well, better late than never. hehehe.
I've recently beeb approved for Lapband surgery. It's scheduled for 1/14/09. This will be a complete lifestyle change for me getting used to eating differently. I'm goinr through the program at OWLO, Oklahoma Weightloss? Options, in Norman. It's the only program in OK approved by Medicare.
My current weight is classified, no it's around 340 and I hope to get down to 200-220. Which is doable.
