Another trip around the sun is in the books.

And just like that, the talks have ended and I've sent that prospective slave on her way. There were two very big (imo) factors as to why she would not have worked out.

The first being a big communication problem. When I speak, I speak directly and clearly as to what I want, think, feel or am asking. If I'm asking a question, I expect an answer to the question asked. Not what you think you feel the question is or pretains to. That tells me you aren't listening to my words, just your feelings. And that will lead a slave to failure every time.

The next problem is ideals vs reality. I see this as rampant throughout these bdsm sites. A slave will search for their ideals and not except that the reality is rarely, if ever, matches what their idea of being a slave is. The fact is, thought the slave wants to be kept in a cage and only brought out to be played with, bills need to be paid, the house needs to be cleaned, meals need to be cooked. These are, to me and other Masters, part and parcel to being a slave. The fantasy slavery is good for maybe a weekend or so. But not something feasible for the long run.

So for now, it seems I am still looking for a slave. As I continue on this journey, I think I'll continue to use this form of media as a sounding board. 

First meet with the potential slave went well. I took her to a steak place to see how she would do in such an environment with me. She did well but that isn't really a big surprise considering her corporate career. We talked at length about what her enslavement would look like. I began to feel that old tingle I get when I speak to someone who actually *gets it*. Someone who understands that this lifestyle is more then looking pretty in a cage or on a cross. Someone that wants the structure and discipline I'm offering. Of course we have much to discuss and a collar offer will take time. But I know that I am speaking to an authentic slave and my time won't be wasted. 

Finally speaking to a prospective slave. Funny enough, I didn't find her on here. Which I suppose should be no surprise. We've been talking for two weeks now and I've arranged to meet her in person tomorrow. She is a leather slave so there will have to be some adjustments made. But the future looks promising.
