Love should sit lightly on us, but it never does.  We worry and over-think and wonder instead of just enjoying the person who loves us back.  No relationship is perfect because no person is perfect.  Every relationship has times when the two are in harmony and other times when one seems to love more than the other.  It's no different in the D/s world.  We try to love lightly but how light can it be when you are risking your very soul?  Only when you give your soul the freedom to love as it will can you achieve true lightness of spirit and enjoy the feelings you have for the other person.  Learn to love freely and you will learn to love lightly.  Don't over-think just do what feels right and talk to your lover.  Try as we might we are not psychic or able to read your mind.  You have to tell us what you think and feel.
I love M'Lord with my whole being but lightly so he is free to be himself.  If he chooses to love me back I am blessed.  If he needs to be apart I am still blessed for having him in my life at all.  If he ever chooses to put me aside I will have been blessed for having his love and friendship as a part of my history. 
I will learn to love as lightly as a feather so he will never feel he must carry the weight.  4/16/09

I feel your hands grip my wrists

Your mouth tasting my throat 
The first flutter of desire shivers across my skin

I dissolve into a being who feels but does not think
