I'm probably dating myself when I say this, but I was born on July 22, 1978.
Occasionally, I ask someone what she thinks of my profile. I am always looking for advice and honest feedback. She said it's not funny enough. So, here are some jokes that I wrote:
Last year I got invited to a ten-thousand-dollar-a-plate fundraising dinner for Senator Dianne Feinstein. I didn't have ten thousand dollars, so I brought my own plate.
I recently bought a book about Buddhism, but after I started reading it I didn't want it anymore.
My father once told me, there are two kinds of people in this world: those who make unnecessary dichotomies, and those who don't.

One time, there was a deadbeat producer who owed me money for a movie I worked on. Allegedly, I called up the lab where the film was processed, pretending to be a Unit Production Manager, and said I needed to pick up the camera negatives. Allegedly, I faxed over permission and said I would be sending over a runner to get it. Then I allegedly showed up as the runner and got them. A couple days later the director called me and started yelling at me. I just hung up on him. He called me back immediately and I hung up on him again. Eventually I ended up getting paid and so did the other crew members.
My favorite thing anyone has ever said to me was, "I like the way you think." This was not said in response to something I said, like "Let's get ice cream", but a genuine compliment. I hope it was genuine.
I'm funny and witty and I like to make jokes. I'm intelligent and have a 144 IQ. I know that doesn't prove anything but it's the best way I know to quantify it. Please don't send me a message saying how I shouldn't brag about my IQ. This is a profile on a dating site and it's my job to include relevant information and put my best foot forward. Imagine writing a resume and leaving off the fact that you got a master's degree.
I'm 6'0" and weigh 154 pounds. I have no tattoos or piercings. I have two pet rabbits.
I have been told I am a good kisser. I'm not lying, but she may have been.
I work out. I have been taking swing dancing lessons. I also enjoy karaoke, board games, woodworking (I built a dungeon in my garage), photography, volleyball, video games, and Al-Anon meetings (I am not, however, an alcoholic). |
