I would ideally like to meet a man aged between 38 and 48, who is non-smoking, friendly, polite, calm, sincere and has a good sense of humour.

I rarely drink – if you like nights in the pub, I'm not the one for you.

I would prefer someone to look up to in both stature and intelligence – so over 5ft 9 is perfect. [I'm not so particular about IQ - as long as you can string a sentence together and don't feel the need to trash everyone elses opinions].

I need someone who will make me laugh, but not laugh at me. Someone who will make me cry, but only at the right times!!
