So....no one ever told me that a cold glass of water pressed against my breasts as I'm being held from behind and told all that is expected of me could feel so damn GOOD.

On a small issue that has popped up a few times, and a friendly warning to anyone who wishes to message me.  My submission is mine to give, to whom I chose, when I chose.  It is a gift and one that has to be earned, just as your domination is a gift to be earned.  Just because you are a dom do not expect immediate submission from me.  That comes with time if I've decided I can trust you and have a connection with you.  Mainly this means that I will NOT call you Sir or master or any other title until I decide to do so.  Demands that I instantly show such a strong sign of submission will be denied, especially if you demand that I call you master.  I may have many sir's in my life but I will only ever have one master; the man that I will submit happily and willingly to completely.

I just started reading The Petticoat Affair and I am amazed at how fascinating the Jacksonian administration, especially the early years, is.  I've always been convinced that American history became largely boring after the Revolution and only became briefly interesting during the build up to and during the Civil War.  Freaking Andrew Jackson though.  He was in many respects a dick - especially on his views on race and his genocide of Native Americans (I can't remember which groups specifically were targeted, again not normally my area of historical study).

Still the Eaton affair is absolutely fascinating.  Essentially he turned a the social affairs of women (society women viewed Peggy Eaton as morally lose, and worse, she was trying to move up into gentile society despite her reputation, and thus despite her friendship with Jackson and marriage to one of his cabinet members they snubbed her) into a huge political affair. Any attack on the women he admired and felt were wronged, he felt was a political conspiracy against him.  I am not much of a gender historian but I can only imagine the fun a gender historian could have with this topic!  (also I am new to this era of history so if I am mistaken in any of my facts/interpretations, please let me know and do not be offended)

And now I am boring everyone so  I shall stop ranting about history.

While it is late I just watched the finale episode of the first season of Grimm and all I can say is WTF!  Now I have to see season two. RIGHT NOW.  This show is one of the best re-imagining of the Grimm fairy tales that I have ever seen.  I am particularly excited because it does not perpetuate the common misunderstanding that the Grimm brothers were the authors of the fairy tales.  Of course the Grimm brothers are apart of the world but the show is quite clear that the legends and fairy tales come from several sources; various Grimms or people who ran into a Wesen who did not hide his/her true form.

The use of German, especially as a naming device for the various Wesen always makes me smile.  Though I am a little disappointed that the names are becoming less and less creative.  Blut-bad (which literally means blood bath) is probably the coolest name for a wolf Wesen, but most of the other names are just German words for the animal, such as Fuchsbau (fox den) or Bauer Schwein (builder pig).  Whatever, it is still an awesome show and if you have not seen it yet - you should.
