I'm a well rounded, nice, naturally Dominant guy with an edge. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. An important part of making the whole thing work is your need to provide pleasure in delightfully creative, specific, explicit and sometimes ritualistic ways. What you get in return is the care and attention you crave, a rock-solid place to be and person to be with, and a whole lotta fun.
Your health matters to me. No smoking, be drug/disease free, be able to walk around the block without huffing and puffing. If you've got physical issues, be working on them in some credible way. Hey, I'm not a vegetarian or a marathon runner, but I like getting outdoors and I want to do it with you.
In addition to being a service submissive, the gal I'd like to be with has interests that go beyond D/s. This might mean she volunteers at the USO, loves visiting museums, competes in a sport, follows current events, or whatever. The point is, she can hold up her end of an interesting conversation about whatever it is that she's passionate about.
The sexual preferences checklists don't work for me, though they may for others with specific fetishes or folks where most of the play is in the physical realm. If it's a mental thing, then exactly how you get to the raw naked open throbbing weeping laughing crying person inside is going to be as unique as that person. The check lists, which appear to be short cuts to some, can actually be detours to a process that to me is more intuitive. That's not to say that detours can't be fun... just that they're not the main event.
