Hi. I am not looking for anyone just now. My husband and I are involved with some other poly couples so I have a boyfriend as well (maybe more than one; maybe a girlfriend; we'll see...).
In the future I may be open to new connections. In general I prefer switches, or possibly doms who feel like submitting now and then. and I have a few firm requirements. Beyond those it depends on chemistry.
1. I am not into a 24/7 power exchange, nor am I interested in people who identity revolves only around bdsm. No public play.
3. You must be smart, well-informed and able to hold an intelligent conversation.
4. You must be healthy, in decent shape, and have a high standard of personal hygiene--and preferably these are things you do for yourself anyway.
5. You must submit because you enjoy it (or because you find me irresistible) not because you are spineless or passive.
Really I prefer to just meet someone at random, like him and find him hot and then discover we had compatible tastes in kinkiness as well, but I am pretty busy: I work full-time at a job I love, have 2 small kids and as I said above a husband and a boyfriend, and maybe a more than that.

I am a scholar, teacher, mother. I'm? pretty intense and ambitious, particularly in my career. I am opinionated about things about which I feel well informed, like my work, politics, and some kinds of cultural stuff. I love new media and web stuff, spend a lot of time at my computer, but I also like cooking, gardening, and I love travel.
I'm not a good prospect if you are looking for monogamy or a permanent arrangement.
So if you haven't run away already, maybe this will send you. ;) I am also extremely liberal, have a very low tolerance for religiosity, stupidity, or anti-intellectualism. --Since I study culture, communication, etc, I am always thinking about what books, movies, TV, music and other artifacts might mean.
I love good food, either home-cooked or out. I probably spend too much money on the latter. I also like fine wine, micro-brew beer, and I'm obnoxiously picky about coffee. I love almost all Asian food--from India to Japan and everywhere in between. Also Middle-Eastern; Persian, Assyrian, Moroccan. Then there's European; French, German, Dutch, Spanish...actually, I can't think of a national cuisine I don't like except bland, overly-processed American!
I also love to travel and if I were independently wealthy, we would probably be living abroad most of the time with an au pair. And as it is, I am considering becoming an ex-pat anyway; we'll see what happens November 6...Did I mention how liberal I am? Not in a bleeding heart way, more a ruthlessly pragmatic way, so I often irritate the former type.
