Hey :)
First of all I should announce my distaste of writing profiles.. I've been a Dom off and on since 98-99, but that doesn't mean I've got much of a *public* ego about it.. It's just the way I am behind closed doors, or rather I tend to keep it between myself and my sub. Interpersonally I can be very assertive and Dom indeed.. When I'm so inclined!
Over the years, the majority of my relationships have had a degree of D/s to them. I like to be discrete about my Dominance as I enjoy the masquerade of 'normality' (to onlookers) and the reality of something quite different occuring.
Recently, my relationships have been either extremely fleeting or pretty vanilla. I'd really like to find someone awesome, intelligent and passionate to rekindle that Dom fire within me.
Outside of the scene, I'm very into music (everything from Post-Rock and Electronica all the way through to Rock music, the Blues and Jazz.) I love films of almost all sorts, but nothing in the world beats good human interaction.
Socially, I can be either pretty quiet and reserved or extremely outgoing.. My sense of humour is dry, witty, a little offbeat and surreal.. I'm also quite an old romantic at heart.
I'm very left-wing, although I think that authority has its place in society also. I'm a strong believer in democratic libertarianism and love debating about it.
I am very much a non-smoker, d/d free. I understand why people like to do these things, I just can't empathise. I like to drink socially, but it's not something I do all the time.
I have weaknesses for the smell of vanilla, deep eye contact and a good smile. Softly spoken words also really do make a positive impression on me.
There's a significant difference between submissive and apathetic.. I am looking for someone with a strong sense of who she is, that submits of free will and is not afraid to be open and honest as much as possible. It's very important to me that if I am expecting someone to give of themself to me, I am able to trust and return the gesture.

Day Two of the new job tomorrow, must get up in six hours or so, ugh, not looking forward to the commute!
I'm working a contract in Peterborough, but I live in Cambridge... I don't drive and therefore have to do the bus & train thing... 6:20 I leave the house for a 9AM start.. I'm gonna be knackered again.. Oh Well! :)
I so need a backrub. Hehe. |
