Hi my name is lucy or luke, depending on what clothes I'm wearing. I'm

I'm an assertive, confident, fun loving guy. I have many passionate interests.
Music is my first love, I have been collecting music ever since the early 80's and I'm a part time dj.
I specialize in real soulful underground disco from the early 70's,
funk, soul, jazzfunk, rare grooves, classic house and a select few
soulful house tunes from the future.
I love early Detroit techno and intelligent positive hip hop both old and new.
Recently I have found a love for broken beats, nu jazz, nu soul and
have been building a collection of rare rare soul, disco, funk etc.
I also have a soft spot for reggae, ska and 60's & 70's rock music
anything from the Beatles and the Stones to Led Zep and even some 80's
rock dance like Happy Monday's and The Stones Roses.
I'm a little Mod at heart
I don't like gangsta rap, commercial R&B, pop music, boy bands or
anything that promotes violence or the massive bling induced ego of the
artist.
I realise that this will upset many scene people but I can't stand
modern rock whether it is Franz Ferdinand and the Kaiser Cheifs or
Marylin Manson, Cradle of Filth, Linkin Park or Megadeath it all leaves
me cold.
Trance music is so rubbish it is not even worthy of the scorn it so deserves.
(By the way I have worked with Danny from Cradle of Filth and I think
he is a great guy so don't shoot me, I was the hand coming out of the
ground in one of their videos we shot on Hampstead Heath in the 90's)
Anyways enough about music, I love cooking and I'm a fantastic cook even if I say so myself.
I'm a master at roast dinners, authentic Thai or Indian cuisine and
Italian is another of my fortes I make my own pasta and my vongole
sause is a dream mmmm spicy
I love reading books, history, biographies and philosophy are my
favorites. I have recently been very interested in the athiest books
that seem to be booming of late.
Another new development is I love to keep fit, I was in Thailand for
six months and I used the gym daily, used the running machine for 10
kilometres daily and swam 30 lengths everyday and I use weights to tone.
The weight has fallen off me and I have found a new lease of life and a certain unhealthy sexy fascination with my own body.
Although I can't afford gyms in the UK boo hoo
Even though I like keeping fit there is nothing I like better than a
party, I love dancing, drinking and the very occasional dabble in some
euphoric chemicals.
I have a wicked and cheeky sense of humour and I love to talk crap and be silly with other imaginative people.
I can be very emotional and always need friends to hug.
I love animals especially dogs.
I'm a Thai masseur and I hope to learn to teach English so I can spend
more time in Thailand. I'm always looking for fellow travelers to enjoy
my travels with.
