New Year, new profile.
Well, our SeaHawks made us proud, and we have the Tshirts! The new year is promising some huge changes, which brings a time of reflection on the past.
In 1998, I begged the collar of a man, my deepest wish was to serve. Still tending to his needs, but the collar is gone. Life happens. Due to my inheritance and legal position in the care of my mother, it was determined I could no longer be "slave"...since slaves own nothing and must devote 100 percent to the one they are serving. That, was impossible since my mom required round the clock care. A bit of a shock, but time moves on. Things smoothed out, and while the labels have changed, his needs and wants are still foremost on my mind.
Life is like an E ticket ride, (for those old enough to remember what that was!), and you can either embrace the highs and lows...or fall off and refuse to get up. Positive attitude is the key. While I don't kneel as much as I used to, old bones are making their presence known, it doesn't stop us from enjoying all that life has to offer. My advice to others, don't get so hung up on protocol and labels that you let even one day pass you by. Turn off the box and walk in the sunshine, alone, or with someone you love. |

The English language is not working. I have taken the time to write something on my profile, giving some detailed experiences and making it fairly obvious that I am not seeking, anything. Yet, my inbox is plagued with submissive men sending generic, unwanted solicitations, making it clear they couldn't take the time to read. English language...fail.
My time online is limited, I have a life away from this computer. This site is becoming more of a time waster then my regular email account. I will no longer reply to messages here, unless I know the person, or they are of a less "personal" nature. Being polite isn't working, so if your intent is a picture, or to offer yourself for some sick, perverted usage, my response is here: Bugger Off. |

What would Tarl Cabot do? If he came to earth and saw all of these self professed gorean men and women chatting online, (while alone),surfing for porn (while alone), typing about their gorean qualities and making arrangements to meet women behind the wifes back. My guess would be intense laughter. Following that, I'm pretty sure Tarl would question why a gorean man was unable to talk with others face to face, or why he is satisfied with pictures on a box, when the world of full of beautiful women. Filling bandwidth with words and stories about how you have come to understand the quotes or philosophy from a book that you didn't write, doesn't make you one with the character, grasshopper. The words penned on paper aren't yours, you are riding on the coat tails of the author, John Norman. Get up, push away from the computer and try living life on your own terms, not what someone else laid out for you. |

After a brief battle, there is a pot of simmering turkey innards on the stove, and the bird is resting comfortably in the fridge. Having a few moments before it's time to begin the mulled cider, I wanted to catch up online and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. A few more empty chairs this year, makes us cherish those who remain even more. Don't forget to give thanks, it's about more then pumpkin pie and football. Oh, and a shoutout to our SeaHawks, GO TEAM! |

Another year...another Fall. Great timing too...the last jar of applesauce was scarcely stored in the pantry before the temps took a dive. Currently 26 degrees as I type this.
Today, the pumpkin gets carved in preparation for the hordes of goblins,witches and whatever is popular among the short crowd. Then, it's on to Thanksgiving festivities and dare I say...the merriest time of year.
Health is good, warm home, plenty of stocked goodies in the cupboards, we are blessed. Nothing else really matters. |
