Produce cierta melancolía, una tristeza decadente -literaria sin duda- como algunas canciones de entreguerras o páginas perdidas de Drieu La Rochelle, ver a un hombre solo, apartado y distante, en la barra de un bar con decorado internacional. Las muchas canas y las muchas camas, un indudable estómago que la camisa inglesa apenas disimula, el temblor, no demasiado visible, de su mano en un vaso, son parte del naufragio, resaca de la vida. Un hombre que espera ¿quién sabe qué?. ¿tal vez aún espera que le sorprendan?
