This slave has embarked in a new direction in it's life.  It is interesting as it never thought this journey would go in so many directions and all good.  It has had good experiences in the past but all with limitations.  As it was noting with Master, it would get a sip of what it is about, and then it would dry up.  Not at fault with the Person(s) it was with as more so due to it not being the right relationship.  Master has helped it see that over this last year of just chatting as friends and then moving forward to something more, there is so much more out there!  It has been so amazing to this slave the things it has learned along the way.  He has helped it to see things about itself it never thought possible.  It's self image in the beginning...it loathed itself...it looked in the mirror and saw fat and ugliness.  It now sees beauty and an appreciation for itself.  It would have not seen this without Master's guidance.  He also has helped this slave to see the inner needs of the slave both physically and mentally.  The slutty fun side versus the sensuous and sexy side.  He has helped it to see it's value and worth to not only itself but to Him and those around it.  How can one really serve if it doesn't know what it is...slave, person, worker, manager, sister, daughter, friend...it has to know who it is within each of those roles to really know what purpose it has.  Master has defined this slave's changes as a metamorphic change into something beautiful and amazing...He selected the name butterfly{Az} as it's slave name.  It will be using this name here forward.  It shows the significance in it's name with what this slave has been experiencing over the last year.  He helped this slave through so many things over the last year, just to learn who it is in it's slavery, and there is still so much to learn.  It is an ever evolving and growing thing...this life...this relationship...this slave.  Who would have thought a year ago, that it is where it's at today?  Thank You Master for helping it to feel it's servitude, for helping it to see more and more the changes within itself, and for seeing the beauty within it.

As time has progressed, Master has assisted this slave into finding itself as slave...discussions and thoughts of servitude and what that entails for each.  Tasks and experiences that have helped this slave to see more and more who it is in it's servitude.  A daily task that has transitioned from self loathing of itself initially into finding beauty in who it is as a slave and within it's servitude.  Master asked it to look at photos in the beginning and how it responded initially to it's training...there was an unhappy self questioning slave who has now went to a smiling, confident slave in recent photos.  Granted there is much still to learn, but there is one piece of all this that became very evident (that Master has been trying to teach it all along...sorry it took so long Master;).  One must love itself before it can move forward.  It knew this and thought it was already past that, but learned it was harboring many things until recent.  It must learn who it is in it's servitude so that it may be able to better serve, to be that slave He needs.  It looks at the slave in the mirror and sees that the beauty not only comes from the inside but the outside now.  It wasn't able to say that before and struggled greatly with this.  The beauty comes from the servitude, the slave within.  Once that comes together, then all the other factors within the slave develop...that sexy slave it didn't know was there, that slave who is the slut for it's Master...there are many many sides to any person and this slave is slowly discovering this.  It makes this all an ongoing learning process with so many facets to what makes a human being who they are...makes a slave what it is... This slave is learning within that, with the Master's help and control, there is a new found freedom in it all.  It can be who it is fully without judgement or apprehension.  It is accepted by Master for the whole slave it is, without question.  It never thought that possible.  It has always hindered itself on what other's will think (basing off of it's own opinion of itself) and has held back on much of who it is because of that.  It's a very freeing...liberating feeling.  It can be that fun outgoing (and many other sides to the slave) it wants to be without worry that something would happen or judgement would take place.  Master is there to ensure it remains safe in all aspects as it learns to grow in who it is.  It has not had this experience prior to.  It never knew this freedom, but only apprehension for fear that it was be reprimanded or laughed off.  Not that Anyone prior to this was intentional in the fact of what They were doing (and maybe some were?)...it knows now, that 1. it wasn't the right mix of relationship and 2. They may have not developed into the Master/Mistress as of that point that could help further this slave nor to help them grow into the Master/Mistress They need to be.  So once this slave realized what is out there and how the journey can grow and develop...it was eye opening...to say the least.  How amazing... Master, Your slave thanks You for the journey so far and looks forward to what will develop.  It has been an amazing ride so far and knows that what is to come, will be even better.  Growing pains and all.  Thank You Master for having such a wonderful heart, helping this slave see so many positives in it when all it could see initially is all of the negatives.  It knows there is much more to learn about the life and what this slave is within it and most importantly to You.  It looks forward to learning so much more with You Master and how it may be the slave it needs to be for You so that it can serve in the capacity that You desire and need.  Thank You Master.

As this slave continues on this journey, there are new things that always come out of the woodwork of something that is normal or in the day to day.  This slave knows that when Master has said this slave is safe, it knows that it is true.  But even then, after being told and shown so many times, this slave feels in new levels how safe it is.  In knowing this, there is a new found freedom in completion of tasks or when delving into areas that may be more difficult to deal with due to previous hurts or insecurities.  This slave feels a relief in knowing that even though it has experienced unpleasant things prior to Master, that it's Master is and always will be it's safe haven.  It takes a peace in that.  It knows that many slaves out there know what this slave is talking about.  It is a wonderful feeling in knowing this and feels even more at ease as to what Master may desire or need.  Granted, when Master may push on areas that maybe this slave needs to grow in, they won't always be easy...they aren't called growing pains for nothing.  But this slave knows it will take solace in the fact that Master's intentions are never to harm but help and to grow.  That's a very comforting thought indeed.  Just to raise some thoughts (ones not only inspired by Master in regards to pushing the elements to think outside of the norm but also just conversation among friends), with regards to pushing a slave, how far is too far if the slave is consenting, even to unhealthy levels?  Who takes responsibility to ensure the health and safety of all involved?  It is thankful that Master and this slave have spelled out what is considered unhealthy for both He and it and are in agreement on the various levels.  But what about on lookers who see unhealthy habits in a C/couple?  Just some thoughts...when it is being nosy and intrusive versus a concerned friend/mentor?  This slave has it's own conclusions, but it is merely this slave's opinion.  Just some thoughts that are currently going through this slave's head.  As this slave continues on this road of life, it will continue to review and reflect on how it can be better as a slave not only for Master, but for itself...to grow in it's servitude so that it may be all it can for Him.  It appreciates Him so very much and what it has learned thus far.  It looks forward to what He has in store for it and hopes that it can please and give back to Him as much as He has given to it.

Over the last week, this slave has been processing and thinking on what it's servitude is about.  When it looks at the history of the word slave, of course there are many negative connotations not only in American history, but also within the online lifestyles.  (Of course, this is a basic opinion, so please keep this in mind as one reads.)  As a slave, it has learned thus far that as it lives in reality, it can be so demanding and requires so much in it's day to day.  With it's job, there are many demands and decisions this slave has to make every day, as most feel in their jobs.  What a relief to come home to know that when it arrives at the door that it's Master is there to assist it, relieve it and ensure it is taken care of.  It's Master assists by making the decisions it needs help with or that He may see it is struggling with and in the process is looking out for it's care.   Some question the level of servitude one may give to a Master or Mistress, and in some situations, that concern or questioning is good.  It needs to be questioned to keep things in check.  But in the end, if the Master or Mistress is looking out for the best interest for that slave, then it's needs are being cared for and provided in a manner that is healthy and in the best interest of the slave.  Now, to determine what that level is, that is going to be up to that relationship and it's needs.  Now, many argue this point as well...but what must be kept in mind is the foundation of what BDSM is about.  This can be tough as each dynamic is different.  There is no exact science to any of this as it involves people and every person and relationship is different.  From what it can observe from it's servitude with Master Az thus far, it feels it has learned so much in the few short months of it serving.  It had relationships in the past within the lifestyle, and not to say that it didn't learn something from it and that the leadings of those Masters and Mistresses were of ill intent, but it wasn't the right relationship for that dynamic to work.  It is appreciative to those Masters and Mistresses for their leading and guidance and has learned some valuable things along the way.  After having those experiences, Master Az has helped this slave to see that there is still much to learn and to look forward to.  Master Az is has taught this slave so far the value of this slave and how important that is for it's growth in servitude.  The need for the slave to know it's value in the relationship, in it's development as a slave and to function within the relationship.  It still has much to learn and looks forward to that journey with Master Az.  But what this slave's point is out of all of this, is that so many look at a relationship and make judgement of what makes up that relationship, when one hasn't been in the shoes of that Master and/or Mistress and slave.  So how can one make judgement when they haven't had those experiences that the Master and/or Mistress and slave have gone through?  Again, this slave isn't saying that one shouldn't question things, as questions help to see where things stand and where growth can be.  It appreciates the good that Master Az sees in this slave and the steps He has taken thus far to help this slave develop.  It looks so forward to the future and what is to come.  It looks forward to not only serving Master in a higher capacity as things develop, but also to see the growth that will occur in this slave as it goes.  As this slave continues on it's journey with Master Az, it will do everything in it's capacity to demonstrate the servitude that Master Az is teaching it.  It looks at the self growth and sees how far it has come thus far...it will only go up from here.  Again, this is just an opinion of what it has experienced thus far.  This slave hopes that other's are able to read this and think on what servitude means to them, possibly challenge themselves in the process.  This slave doesn't claim to know it all and has limited experience (which it hopes to change that), but it hopes that it continues to have the opportunity to serve with Master Az (and has so enjoyed the experiences thus far, thank You Master;).  Last thought:  Growth is an ever evolving thing...does one ever achieve greatness to the full extent or is there always room for growth no matter the experience?  If growth isn't occurring, then has stagnancy occurred? Again, thank You Master for this journey thus far.  It appreciates You so very much for all You do for this slave and the time You take to help this slave.  Your slave is so very excited to be on this journey with You.  Thank You for Your guidance Master and for helping this slave to see the beauty in it as well as this life.  You truly are an amazing Master.

So begins a new year and a new outlook on what is to come.  After reflecting on the past year, there has been so many changes and thankfully growth in a positive direction.  This slave has went from being a sub who had very little confidence in itself to a slave who sees who it is within it's servitude and what it can become.  This is all due to Master taking the time to help this slave see what it can be.  It still has a long ways to go, but it is on the right track.  It looks forward for what 2016 brings.  Thank You Master, for taking time to see the potential in this slave and to see what it can do.  You truly are inspiration for Your slave.  Wishing E/everyone a wonderful new year and the possibilities to come:) slave

I know not many are aware as my time here has been limited. I have been visiting with Someone for the past few months. W/we have taken time to get to know each O/other well and to discuss many a topic to ensure this decision was the right direction for U/us. After much discussion, W/we have decided to move forward, and AzDomGuy has collared me as His slave. I look forward to all I can do not only in servitude but also learn, to make Him proud.
