So it seems that my attitude in my journal entries gives me away as someone who is not genuine.  The fact that I even bother with writing anything beyond a three line profile should hint that there is more to me than a troll.

Yes, your age sends you straight to.my bulk folder but I do read the messages occasionally to see if I might have missed someone worth chatting to.  Clearly not in certain cases.

I am not interested in anyone who is seeking an extra-curricular liason or fling.  That is something I tend to steer clear of as hurt and confusion cloud the beauty of any kink laden bond.  

Talk to me, do not lecture me or demand things from me for it is not a gift worth receiving if it is given so freely to all who approach.

Browsing through the profiles, I have come to a dramatic conclusion.  I have developed an aversion to the words "I don't bite...  (insert something witty here)".  This really isn't original or funny.  It's a space filler.  Open up a little, loosen up and shake it out.  Heaven forbid a little of your personality spill out in the words that you use to compose your profile.  Are you worried about actually attracting someone who likes you for you?  Perhaps it is scary to consider that an option, especially those of you who are married or otherwise involved.  If you are, be honest about it, don't drop a clanger just prior to meeting.  That kind of announcement needs to be digested thoroughly. 

The other thing I have noticed is the amount of profiles with only two or three lines in them.  Is that all you can write.  Do you expect anyone to come up with a common thread to start a conversation with just those words?

I wonder if anyone else feels a little confused by the profiles of men who use females in their profile photos?  Is this what you aspire to be?  If you don't want to show yourself then show an image that describes you, or something you like.  Oh and polished, perfect muscled torsos are HIGHLY unlikely to exist in the oiled up condition portrayed in some of y'alls photos.  Unless you like modelling for gay porn...  Please don't try to convince me or any other woman that they are for real. 

Oh and if you are a Dom, and you do have a photo on your profile, remember this is your shop window - brush your hair, have a wash and maybe SMILE.  Tidy the room in which you are taking the photo.  Impress us with your appearance, attention to detail, and such.  Believe me, it matters a WHOLE BUNCH.

Firstly, anybody with minimal common sense can tell that your photo has been ripped from some website or another, there is no way in this world that an English man can pull off that inherently American look!  With all due respect, abs like that, hmmm, not on real life, day to day men in their late 30's.

Secondly, a quick check using any of the backward image searching websites will generate at least 17 sources of this image, most of them gay interest...

Now, which one of us is dumb?

What a day! 

First of all thank you for making today much less tedious than usual.  It's nice to feel that someone gets me, and can converse freely with honesty.  You know who you are...

< rant>Next, to the two of you who decided to throw the mother of all strops because I didn't reply, get a fucking life! Sending a message everytime I log in telling me to chat is not attractive. Sending me abusive email is also not on.  I don't like needy people and it's not a characteristic I find endearing in a "dom".  Throwing your toys out of the pram is petulant and shows a lack of maturity. You're in your late forties FFS!
