Passed the PMP exam, which had been distracting me and absorbing all free time for months - yay! Now perhaps I'll have more time to read and respond to messages - just too overwhelmed with work, studying, remodeling, family, friends, etc. to keep up before.

Having had some traditional service training, I've also studied and read widely on my own. I enjoy formal D/s, having found that it extends my sub mindspace into activities that I wouldn't otherwise eroticize, but direct physical control is also totally hot. Most forms of sensory deprivation, penetration, and pain play work for me, and terror does, too (knives, fire play, interrogation scenes, staged rapes/gang bangs...never had one, but damn, "Macho Sluts" was sure hot!).
I love bondage, both simple and complex (from quick leather restraints/ arm sleeves and carabiners to Japanese Rope bondage, other types of rope bondage, suspension, duct tape, etc.) and impact play - spanking, paddling, flogging, canes, singletails, etc. Clamps...well, I don't really like them, because they tend to be intense for me, but they make me embarassingly wet, and I come really hard when I've got ones on my nipples. Wax is a favorite, as is anything sexual. I get really turned on when I play, and, um, have been told that I come really easily when compared to the average; I can also come zillions of times (one of the trade-offs for the sensitive way I'm wired), especially after I've come the first time, when a gentle stroke almost anywhere will set me off again.
Apart from the hot monkey-sex aspect of it... Pain play and submission are very Zen for me. In bottom/sub/slave space, I exist only in the current moment, in the eternal Forever, in whatever you choose to call it. I seek the alchemy that happens during a really good scene, when you can let go and fly - the way a trapeze artist launches in exhilaration, fearing at some level but absolutely trusting that their partner will catch them on the other side. It leads me to a very wonderful, peaceful place.
I'm looking for an intelligent, well-spoken, creative man with a sense of humor; the connection and the power exchange is more important to me than the particular thing that we'd do, or what you look like. (Although basic hygeine is a must...!) I'm ultimately looking for a primary or secondary longer-term relationship (non-exclusive, poly ok), but also for short-term play and sex partners along the way.
I've enjoyed a lot of different bdsm modalities, and find I often enjoy most the thing that my partner really enjoys doing...but someone experienced is probably going to suit me better than someone who's just joined the scene within the past year.
