About LAKEgroup
The Lake Agassiz Kink Exchange (LAKE) is a power exchange group that is located within the historic Lake Agassiz area. We are open to the idea that B D S M can be a safe practice when coupled with common sense. We believe that all ideas have some value, but may not fit every person’s view of the lifestyle. That is what makes us different from other groups; we welcome every idea and let the people decide for themselves if this is right for them.
We try to have as few rules as possible, and allow you to exercise your intelligence, and good judgment. However, we want you to help bring the group to the level that it belongs to in an orderly fashion. This means if you disagree with something or someone, that’s fine but if you are harassing someone and its reported to a moderator or owner, then it will be dealt with accordingly. We feel that leadership should be for the members by the members. If you wish to become a moderator then let an owner or a moderator know. Everyone is equal in this room, and all will be treated with respect and dignity.
We hope to be starting a munch group soon. We also feel that social contact is good for the soul. Again we ask for people to be open minded but not empty headed when attending a munch. We also ask that the dress would be appropriate in relation to where the munch is held. For example don’t wear your leathers to a family restaurant. We also expect you use discretion when talking about the LAKE group, by this we don’t mention names of people who are members, simply we don’t want to chance jeopardizing their employment, family relations and so forth.
We feel this is just simply being respectful.
The purpose of the LAKE group is to bring together people with an open mind, to inform, to befriend, and most of all to support. We hope to make the LAKE group a sanctuary where people can come to each other for help, and friendship.
