We went to the Depeche Mode concert last night. What an incredible time!! Thank you to our friends who made the before and after time a lot of fun, too. I went running for the first time in a week this morning. It was chilly but very motivating and a great way to clear my head. I sense a lot of change coming up in my life in the next couple months...I have my first marathon in January, I go to visit my parents for the holidays, and my job has really taken off the past month. Tomorrow I start volunteering my time to a local no kill animal rescue organization by walking and playing with the puppies. I ran my first half marathon today. It was so much fun! Thank you to everyone who has asked about my running and supported me. My leg has turned out incredibly awesome. Thanks Steve and Cookie! I have pics on my my space profile if you want to check them out. Master and I talked today about D/s protocol and how social relationships (both with lifestyle aware friends and vanilla friends) affect protocol. In the past I have had trouble following protocol in public, even among others who understand D/s because we are friends or I'm uncomfortable because I'm so used to being seen as an independent being during the day at work. I'm curious how other people deal with this situation. Is it something that I can work on to change how I react in situations such as this? Or is it inevitable that these types of things will arise and I should just take them with a grain of salt?
